Aurania Resources is a junior exploration mining company engaged in the identification, evaluation, acquisition and exploration of mineral property interests, with a focus on precious metals and copper. Its flagship asset, The Lost Cities – Cutucu Project, is located in the Jurassic Metallogenic Belt in the eastern foothills of the Andes mountain range of southeastern Ecuador. Aurania also has properties in Canton Valais, Switzerland – Siviez (Uranium, Copper and Gold), Marécottes (Uranium) and Mont Chemin (Gold). All are 100% held through Aurania’s wholly owned subsidiary AuroVallis SARL.
In 2015, the Company made formal application to obtain new five-year permits for its Swiss projects and were advised that the Canton Authority (the “Ministry”) intended to revise the Swiss Mining Law prior to issuing new permits. The applications were deemed legally “frozen” until further notice.
